Yes! I want to help support sustaining agriculture and natural resources on New Jersey's urban fringe.
Grants and gifts directed to the Clifford E. and Melda C. Snyder Research Farm are a vital part of how we reach out with our vision for sustaining farming and community quality of life on New Jersey's urban fringe. From the founding donation of the Snyder Farm in their family will to Rutgers' New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station, the Snyder Farm has lead the way in demonstrating a sustainable agricultural and sound environmental quality path in suburbanizing New Jersey.
How effectively we guide the changing relationship between farming and communities, quality of life and our environment, and community well-being depends on your generous gifts and continued support.

The easiest way is to make a donation payable to the Rutgers University Foundation, and designate the NJAES Snyder Research Farm on the memo portion of your check. But, there are so many additional ways to make financial support gifts to Rutgers NJAES Snyder Farm through direct donations, grants, planned giving, donations of real estate property, estates and trusts, gifts of appreciated securities.
Significant gifts or grants can be directed to special programs expressing your own vision for sustaining agriculture and community natural resources. Ideas like training women in agricultural futures; demonstrating alternative farming methods with a minimal footprint on our environment; and educating urban young people about healthy food and a healthier life can be added to our existing roles in reducing conflicts between the needs of humans and wildlife, or controlling Black flies using Integrated Pest Management methods.
We invite you to discuss these opportunities to express your vision with Snyder Farm Director, Dr. John Grande at (908) 730-9419, or directly with Jim Dawson, Director of Gift Planning for the Rutgers University Foundation at (732) 932-7777.
Thank you.
