Lawn Mower Selection

[Click for large IMG-Lawn Mower Selection]To emphasize the importance of lawnmower selection for large lot rural properties, “Lawn Mower Races” are held to compare various styles of lawnmowers. The “race” highlights the importance of considering many criteria when selecting a lawnmower, similar to shopping for a new automobile. A cost comparison along with longevity considerations is made between commercial and homeowner versions of similar styles.

Cost versus longevity of mowing equipment is reviewed in relationship to value placed on a person's time. Multipurpose lawn tractors are compared to high-speed zero turn riding and walk behind machines.[Click on Image]The average lawn is mowed 22 times per year. The audience is encouraged to consider their budget and time constraints to make the appropriate choice.
